Do you know why glaciers are an important part of the Konavle tradition? You will discover if you sail with us in the Tirena galleon from the city port of Cavtat to the port of Dubrovnik on Saturday, April 30 at 9.30 a.m. On board you will be greeted by KUD Stjepan Radić, who will sing and dance on Dubrovnik's Square of Arms at 11.30 am. Noble wine flavors will be presented to us by Konavle winemakers. The main theme of the trip is the revival of the tradition from the time of the Republic, when the people of Konavle brought ice from the glaciers behind the mountain Sniježnica to Dubrovnik during the warm part of the year. Ice was one of the most luxurious products at that time. The trip is organized by the Konavle Agrotourism Association.
